[IMG] Since I am going to buy this game some time in the near future, I was wondering, have any of you played it yet? What was your opinion of it? If you haven’t played it, what have you heard about it?

I have enjoyed all of the other Final Fantasy games, I just hope this one is up to their high standards and isn’t a flop. Thank you in advance for your input.

don't you meen Final fantasy IX because FF XI is the upcomming multyplayer game. if you meen FF IX, then it is a very nice game, the story is kinda ff VII. if you mean FF XI then its a online game kinda like ever quest.

Edit: haven't seen that FF IX was out, at least for pc in dk, haven't seen it for ps2 yet. still it's a MMORPG, so i'm not going to buy it, the only MMORPG i'm going to play is WoW= world of warcraft.

Thank you for the input. I do not think it is going to come out for the PS2 for about six more months, or is it three now? Something like that. How about the PC version? Does it look promising?

I read in one magazine that it is very extensive and sort of like Everquest and ALFA, as in a persistant world with various quests, and I think you can control the setting to a certain extent. Opinions?
