Fighter's stronghold quests stuck

    After getting the Tempus priest, a messenger is supposed to appear and tell you to go to the castle, supposedly, but he doesn't. I have been resting to let a couple of weeks pass, traveling to multiple locations, etc, but the guy won't appear. Is there something I'm missing? Can the event be triggered via console or something?

    I know it was a bug that don't think anybody ever found a fix for.
    The same bug happens with the Ranger Stronghold quest as well.

    I remember the cause was known, but perhaps another member can link to the thread talking about it?

    Also, do you have at least Baldurdash or the G3 fixpack installed as well as the official patch?

    Oh, one other thing, I think you can go to the De'arnise keep and talk to the majordomo even if nobody shows up.

    I only have the official patch installed, my copy of the game is in spanish, and I don't know if those patches would mess up the dialogue or something.

    If I go directly to the majordomo he just says that noone has come to see me, believe me I've tried.
