One that isn't mentioned yet:
After several hours of playing at 5:00am when I clicked Mazzy she said: "One word about size and you can forget it." That really cracked me. It was on my first run, before ToB.

 

My favorite is Minscs:

Priceless

 

The younger of my sisters is 4' 10" and I've always called her hobbit so for me Mazzy's "One word about size and you can forget it." and Jan's "Your knees are mine" always get me especially as my sister's threat was always "I'll kick your ankles and tickle your kneecaps"

 

I can't name just one favorite, but one that's on my mind right now is what Korgan says to Jaheira:

"If I wanted to listen to a braying mule, elf, I'd go listen to a braying mule."

 

The most recently I heard was : "Magic is impressive. But now Minsc leads, SWORDS for everyone"

Btw, I like Cespana and the imp at lv2 Watcher Keep, and the Spectator beholder too

 

Jan and Minsc have some excellent dialogue, but my favourite remark in BG2 comes from an unlikely source - Jaheira, making fun of "Edwina".

"Oh, that must be because you ARE chafing in your own skin - how thoughtless of me to remind you!"

One of the other less-seen greats is a dialogue between Haer'Dalis and Viconia. Viconia basically tells HD that whatever he may be fantasising about her, the truth would exceed it in duration, intensity and depravity.

HD's response: "Oh... ah... pardon me while my head explodes."

Jan and Sarevok's "Binky" conversation is fantastic, too - on Sarevok's responses to being referred to as 'Binky' alone.

 

The exchange of barbs between Pooky and Smaeluv Orcslicer in the Den of the Seven Vales is a classic. I wish I could find the dialog files for them.

 

SEVPAT01 - SEVPAT06.

"Amon! Tell yer stinkin', fart-smellin' imp to stop calling me Smelly!"

 

"I've come to see the Circus, not some half-dressed tart spouting dire warnings!"

Possible response to one of Kalah's nymphs. May not be the best, but it made me laugh.

1)Minsc's show with Desharik the pirate Lord in Brynnlaw - ''Er,why is your friend pointing a hamster at me?''

2)Spectator,the beholder - ''Oh Captain,my Captain'' and many others.

3)Cespenar - ''What?You use sling?What is you, a big sissy?''

 

Does anyone remember Galvarey from the Harper Hold in the docks? I remember when you're with Jaheria he asks you a series of questions and whatever you answer it always sounds sinister to him. One of the questions he asked was somethin like:

"So, do you ever have any violent thoughts?"

and one of the responses you can take is:

"Oh yes, they're great! I have them all the time! I bet you'd laugh when you heard them ... actually I don't know if YOU would laugh"

From BG1,
when you get caught thieving (in Candlekeep and a few other places i think) one of the responses is:
"Up yours you uppity bald virgin"

btw, who can't love the things Saemon Havarian says?!! Everything that comes out of his mouth is just funny i reckon!

 

Well, playing through ToB today, I rediscovered one of my favorite verbal jousts:

PC: Why do you use so many big words? Are you trying to make me feel stupid?
Kiser Jhaeri: My utilization of complex locution is more a reflection of my own superincumbent mental acuity than an aspersion on your circumscribed lexicon.
PC: Maybe your grandiose vocabulary is a pathetic compensation for an insufficiency in the nether regions of your anatomy.
KJ: Uh...ahem... well... what can I do for you?

Oh, one of my favourites from BG2 comes from Edwina.

Jaheira quips that nature has a way of balancing things and that perhaps he is more suited to being a woman. He replies with something like "I see. So, by your logic you shall be suddenly changing into a large male wildebeest any day now?" which stumps her thoroughly. I like Edwin, haha.

 

OMG Edwina! I totally forgot! I remember the instant that Edwin polymorphs and he starts yelling and then your dialogue comes up and one of them is something like, "Oh don't worry, im sure it's not permanent ... btw nice rack"
