[IMG] Sadly, much of BG2 and ToB was soundless for me...

I do remember the music in the temple of Lathander though. Liked it so much I arranged it for piano. Heh.

I already gave my opinion to this about CRPG's. Now the best in-game-music in all games:

Without doubt Warcraft 2. The cd that could also be put into the CD player. I still have that cd andf listen to the music sometimes, it rulez big time!

Tiamat: I believed he asked for favorites from (A)D&D based games. Bad multiheaded chromatic dragon! :p
That being said, I'd have to go with the music in Planescape: Torment.

[IMG] Tiamat, had the category been less restricted, I would have chosen the same. Square's music has always rocked.

I must admit I love the first Kuldahar theme...it's got that perfect "artic, snowy" feel to it.

I've been listening to a lot of the music from Planescape: Torment now.. I'll probably burn all the tracks from Platter's excellent website onto a CD for a little downtime. My favorite tracks are probably Deionarra's Theme and The Nameless One's Theme.

[IMG] Like many other people - The kuldahar theme from IWD.

But all my other favourites are from Ps:T -
The Comabt music (i love it, it really suits the pace of the combat in Ps:T)
Annah's theme (ya jus gota love annah ;) )
Modron cube music (the non-combat one. I love the plonk and plink in the background. It really suits the modron style)
There are others that i like (hell all of Ps:T is good  ) but i can't remember them off-hand.
Damm you whoever asked this question this trip down memory lane has made me want to play Ps:T again! but i haven't got the time :wail::cry:

Strange! I don't remeber posting that reply. Oh well as the topic is resurrected i may just add that my favourite game music outside AD & D has to be Vampire Masquerade.

It just adds to the stunning graphics to create such an intense atmoshpere!

Another vote for IWD Kuldahar! And my 2nd vote would be the Deionarra theme from PS:T.

Planescape: Torment has the best overall music in AD&D games so far. A good runner up would be Throne of Bhaal, with the excellent music in some places (sadly, not everywhere).

What odd people here, I really hated the Kuldahar music. Not that the rest of Icewind was too good either.
