You can find Daystar in lich's lair in the Crooked Crane Inn in the Gates district. Hint: scan the wall in the inn. ;)

My favourite is not a weapon as such but the gauntlets of crushing for my monk, which gives him +4 to his THACO and makes his fists a +4 weapon, really powerful.

[Go read the forum description. No ToB stuff is allowed in the BG2 forum. I deleted your reference.] -Tal

I think Lilarcor is hilariously funny. Weapons that kick ass include:

    1) Melf's Minute Meteors (so what if it's a spell?),

    2) The aforementioned Lilarcor,

    3) Holy Avenger, but necessarily being a paladin is annoying,

    4) Gesen Bow/Tansheron's Bow (the ghost arrows are wonderful),

    5) Mana Bow, the most damaging bow in the game,

    6) Dragon's Breath halberd (I'd include the Wave Halberd, but the Dragon's Breath has better effects and is found sooner),

    7) and finally, Daystar.

    :D

    1. Look above. Tal already edited one ToB reference out. This is the SoA forum, ToB has it's own.

    2. Buy it from Ribald in the Adventurers Mart. It is a +4 quarterstaff that glows blue (look at Tal's Avatar)
