Currently I have no pet and I couldn't take a cat to a single-room house. In the past I have had two cats: one for about 15 years and second after the first one died to a disease. Then I moved out.

 

An evil-aligned cat.

 

Nah, look at the picture linked below. The grey area around the throat, they can stretch that out, making it look much much bigger.

And since when they're angry (or horny) that area becomes pitch black, that tends to work as a scare-off for predators, or something along these lines

The cats have arrived. I am crawling all over the place after the little critters... they are just so darn cute!

 

One golden retriver bitch named Maggie and two british blue cats - brother and sister - named Clinton (striking resemblence to the president) and Amber (for her eyes).

Maggie's loyal to a fault. Clinton's a total smooch and Amber runs at the sight of people unless they have food.

 

I've a dog and a cat that go out and in as they please, a cat that stays inside, and a varying amount of cats that make my back yard their home, right now the number's 4.

And if you kick them out after a year or two I swear I will personally hang you upside down above the toilet until those cats forgive you. They live for quite some time, you know.

I have a cat, but she's afraid of me, but then again, wer go back a long time, me and her...

I have, no own a cavia and 3 rabbits (not the Pyton-kind). They're cuddly..., something I desire not in a familiar.

 

No joke, a Huntsman spider who lives in my bedroom and is perched directly above my head every morning when I wake up.

 

A Red Setter named Jonah whom we got through an Animal Rescue society in Ireland. He's of working stock so a little smaller and a lot less loopy than a normal Irish Setter. Almost had him a year now, he's aged somewhere between 4 and 6.

 

Used to have two rabbits. But they died. Currently familiar-less.

@Aldazar: Huntsman?! Yikes dude...there was one in my house-mate's room which bit him...not pretty.

 

I've got two cats - with totally different personalities. One brave - one cuddly.

 

I used to have a dog called Albert. He was a pedigree scottie puppy, but was psychotic, and hid under tables waiting to jump out at people. We sold him after about two weeks.

There are also a load of moths in my room, that find their way in, but they don't like people spraying them with deodourant until they turn an odd colour and die. I hate moths.

I want a lizard.

I have two little imps as familiars; one is 6 and the other is 3. They make my life far more complicated than it needs to be, but infinitely more interesting.

 

I am saving up for a Norwegian Forest Cat. Boy those are cool cats.

 

I'm going to have a grey cat and name it Ninja.

 

All my life there has been cats and dogs with me, even I had a little monkey, a turtle, 2 snakes, a veeeery big frog, 2 rabbits, 6 fishes, a cow, 2 pigs, 2 ducks, 6 chickens, a horse, (I used to live in a kind of farm); when I moved here, my girlfriend has a little yorkshire called Nena, few days back I got a little cat, I named him DM, arrr! (my g/f still wonders what the heck is DM for)
