Then you might care to explain why arkanis can kill every creature in a single blow from archer-like distance, when his equipped sword says sword of backstabbing?

  2. I don't know, as I've never tried to kill Renal and Co. so I've never seen it happen. Regardless, my post is still right (I think?) ;).

lol, tsk tsk, basing accusations on speculation is a bad habit ;)

I happen to be mr.Felding behind some of the more practical part of the research and I have no doubt in what I saw, try it yourself.

when you attack renal or whoever, use the cheat to control(ctrl+q) arkanis and check his inventory out yourself.

[IMG] I won't comment The Amazing above - I put the codes so you can check it all with Console commands:
    CLUAConsole:CreateItem("itemcode")
    CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("creaturecode")

    About that Varscona...

Ok, there IS real one in BG2 - the ordinary one. About 15 creatures carry it around. And it's code is:
    SW1H06

Now, get something to see that I'm right - just put search for "SW1H06" thru creature.bif file then create it in your inventory from Console with:
    CLUAConsole:CreateItem("SW1H06")

But that is ordinary version enchanted +2. And my research was not including weapons enchanted +1 or +2. If you want to be cool, fine, make a list with all of weapons that are enchanted +1 and +2 and leave me be. And don't say now "tch, tch, what about Mace of Interruption+2...". That mace hurts Balor baby, it is enchanted +5 although you can't read it anywhere.

The second version of Varscona that is enchanted +10 is not wielded by anyone and can't be found anywhere in the game. As I said above it is a weapon that kills fun so I will not post a code of it here.

    [IMG] Arkanis Gath:

An assasin coded by the progammers to guard the Shadow Masters.
He hasn't got any rings, just an unbeatable
long sword. It appears as a long sworsd +2
    but!
it makes a powerfull attack of 1d10+1000+...+....+..

    So,why this guy exists anyway?

You can't kill the shadow thieves because there will be NO plot afterwards!

[IMG] Raziel, please don't lie on these boards.

Up there you have all ingame details about Arkanis Gath. If you want to lie, lie somewhere else. Or someone else. But not me.
    I'm a bit touchy.

What's the code for the Varscona +10? I wanna see it, but I sure as Hell don't plan to wield it; I cheated once on my game and regretted it so severely (it took all the fun out of the game, it was too easy) that I started all over again. And, who cares? My party can kick butt w/out cheating.... But I wanna see if it really DOES hit as a +10 weapon. I'll take a leaf out of Llandon's book and ask you to e-mail me (tiamat_the_dragon@hotmail.com) if you don't want to post it on the message board....

    Thanks
