Have stayed with my grandparents overnight as it's my step-fathers' mothers birthday and the parents were invited up for a meal. As I'd been away for two months my grandparents wanted to see me, have had a nice time sat and writing away like a busy little bee on my game designs and planning for my warhammer conquests! Had a lovely meal that grandad Ken made, he makes really nice lamb kebabs in pitta bread. It's nice too see them again after so long and grandad is looking so well as he had a full transfusion two days ago. He has leukeamia and we still haven't been able to find a doner for him  but grandma and the rest of my family are doing really well lately.

My other maternal grandad, Grandad King, recently had a hip replacement, he's so happy with it, but there was a while where both my english grandads were in hospital in Intensive Care and we weren't getting any positive news from anywhere! Was a pretty dark time when I was in Solihull and I didn't know if anything had gone wrong.

My mother is still recovering from her dislocated knee, and is currently working from home. I had forgotten how loud she was! She pretty much sings constantly and it really grates on my nerves. Her arguments being "You'll miss it when I'm dead!"

I won't, she's actually been relatively quiet today - but then again she's back at work! Now just the cat who keeps begging for attention even though he has fleas! :o

There's this thing you can get in pharmacies to squeeze behind the cat's ears that's very effective at getting rid of fleas and ticks, at least for a while. Coupled with an anti-flea collar it's about the best you can do...

Yeah, we've had to use two doses of Frontline on him, a week apart. The first dose was before I got home. The second I had to prove to my damned step-father the cat still had fleas - both my mother and I telling him he did was apparently not enough! Had to actually GET some of the bloody things to show him! Ugh!
