I voted 3. And having just finished my third playthrough, I think I was being abit generous. The game was great the first time, not so good the other times. Its not really made for re-playability I guess. Not like BG2 was anyway. I am thinking Dragon Age falls in with Kotor in that area. Bioware are deffinatly taking a step in the right direction with DA though. Can`t wait for the sequel.

Yeah, I'm no fan of this patch. Before it my game almost never crashed. With it, it crashes actually kind of regularly. :(

I have never played it. I may get around to it in a few years time, but I've only just started Neverrwinter Nights 2, so I have a bit of catching up to do. I''m not exactly an early adopter.............

If you don't play Awakening you may be better off reinstalling the game and patching to 1.02 only. Then again if you play Awakening (or any recent DLC) you can't avoid 1.03. but I recommend using Qwinn's Unofficial DA:O Fixpack (it fixes many issues).

I've done somewhere between 6-10 playthroughs... plus I have a ton of PC's I have created but haven't gotten too far into the game with. I have this bad habit of creating a PC, getting to a certain point and saying "I don't like how he/she looks" and deleting the character just to create a new one. Like Cara (I'm sure), I know the origin quests like the back of my hand. I've done 2 mage playthroughs, 2 warrior playthroughs, and 3-4 rogue playthroughs (loves me some rogues!). I've also done 3 complete plays of DAO Awakening as well. I'm a Dragon Age nut

Well, that is where using the toolset really helps. You can create a mrh and use it for your character by editing the save. Once you're done you can tweak the mrh later as you like adding scars or tattoos or changing haircuts and facial structure.

I only start a new game when I get bored (which happens a lot) but that is not for cosmetic reasons. ;)

One thing that is weird is that apart from my first character, all my characters turn out to be really bad... It's just too much fun in DAO.

EDIT: by the way, if you want I could post a step by step tutorial for the mrh thing it's really not that hard. Just let me know.

Have put in a lot of hours, but only finished the game once. I go back every few weeks because I'll have an idea (maybe such and such mage build with so and so...) that I'll play out, but once the novelty wears off I don't find any desire to push through and keep playing.

I'm exactly the same way. I have played a dozen mages, rogues and warrior. I have only actually completed the game 4 times but have completed Ostagar like over 100 times. LOL.
