The trailer got released today. Posting a link for it.

Not sure what to think. Enviroment and backgrounds looks great. Hawke looks abit...well....Soul Calibur, to be honest. Complete with an oversized weapon, a claw, and a mortal kombat finishing move.

Hawke pictures and even the movie reminds me of Duncan.

As Hawke's class; is a rogue, warrior or mage? I couldn't tell. If the game looks like that or close to it that would be great.

I heard the game play is going to be improved for consoles.

Graphics in the game won`t be this good. Far from it. They had a similar trailer for the first one, where the group kills a dragon. Looked fantastic. the game didn`t end up looking like that at all though.

Graphics are not as good as in the trailer but improved over Dragon Age.

The trailer makes it look like an action-RPG. The previews have suggested the console versions may well be.

Didn't they do the same things for DA:O?

DAO on the consoles is only missing the isometric view that the PC game has; everything else is the same, almost. It also takes 2x as long if not more to get a simple bug fix. Dare I saw...DEX BUG DAGGER!!!! Enough on that....

DA2 is going to use combo buttons on PS3 or so I heard. I have a feeling that DA2 on consoles will be a mix of an action adventure and RPG. Almost like Dark Alliance on PS2 but DA2 will have a better story; I really it hope the story in DA2 is as good as DAO.

Sorry, what I meant was that they also released trailers and such that made everyone think it was going to be an action-RPG ala ME. It wasn't.

i wonder what happened to the "Dragon age will be the spiritual successor to Baldur`s Gate". Sounds to me that that bit was just to boost sales.

After having watched that trailer a few times now, any reservations I had about the coolness level are pretty much gone. Due to this and other factors, I think I'm now more excited about the sequel than I was about the original. God bless Bioware. May they keep this thing away from Obsidian. :D

I am liking what i read about it less and less. Looks like they are going Mass Effect 2 on the game. Dumbing it down more and more. Looks alot more action oriented than RP oriented too.
