Rob, over at 1KM1KT.net and FreeRPGBlog, has recently announced another round of the 24 Hour RPG contest. The aim is simple - write a (free) RPG in 24 hours, nonstop. To put a slight twist on the usual contest, this time the theme is Movie Mash-Up. Have to pick two movies from a given list and mix them together to make a RPG. A few small other rules, but that's the jist of it.

Tomorrow is the big day. My last day off before life begins again, weather is meant to be crap, and negotiated a day off with my partner. Food and drinks are all prepared. Might watch Wall-E one more time tonight, then take a deep breath and dive in tomorrow morning.

Breakfast - Homemade muesli and yogurt, with some fresh fruit.
Lunch - Salad, with left over bacon from tonight, and what ever veggies I can get from the garden
    Dinner - Pasta Dish
Drinks - Start with lots of water, then go onto the energy drinks as tiredness kicks in. Finally a beer or two at the end.
    Snacks - Fruit and Snacks.

All prepared and put in little containers in the fridge. Should save an hour or so.

Lots of pens and paper sitting around the computer. Pleanty of Pink Floyd and The Who to be played in the background. Now I just need a good night sleep and we can get under way.

I've chosen Wall-E and Mars Attacks to mix together. Got some rough ideas already, but don't want to think about it too much - that's cheating!

Wish me luck! Will try post some time-stamped updates below as I go.
