The things that depress Death Rabbit:

    - Seeing a dead dog on the side of the freeway. There is a huge stray animal problem in Houston, and I have a 40 mile commute. So this happens almost daily. :(

    - Family members of mine and people close to me getting laid off because of the crappy economy, meanwhile I seem to have found a very secure company and job but have no family to support. :(

    - Seeing my 19 year old cat stumble around the house because she's so old she can barely walk, and I know she's going to go any day now. I've had her since I was 5 years old. :(

    - People littering, driving gas-guzzling SUV's, or otherwise polluting our world, and when asked why they do it say "So what?"

    - 8 year old kids wearing the "gangsta" uniform and flashing gang signs as people drive by

I would think of more, but now I'm depressed. :(

[IMG] things that get me down:

Wondering how things would be different if my wife lived.

Wondering how my son is going to turn out w/o a mother. It's said the crucial years in a child's emotional development are the teen years. fortunately he has a long time to go. even though he isnt mine, I love as if he is my flesh and blood.

Wondering if she is around me when I smell her perfume. a kind of mix 'tween ck1 and patchouli

wondering what can i do something to ease the pain of a friend (online or in-person) who is suffering.

wondering who will take care of my son if something happens to me.

dreaming about her then waking up in the middle of the night all alone :sosad:

When life hands me problems that I can't solve on my own.

When I stop ignoring the problems in my life.

When I think about my grandmother.

    Waking up alone.

Going to work and realizing how pointless my job is.

Thinking about all the things that depress me

Sheesh Greenlion420 ... thinking about some of the stuff you've gone through makes most of my depression generators seem irrelevant. Inspirational really.

Bel ... Morrisey cracks me up. Depressed? Crank up the radio and sing, "You're the one for me, fatty!" or "Shop-Lifters of the World, Unite and Take over" ... don't forget, "hang the bloody DJ".

My wife and I party to this stuff.

    My father depresses me.
I think I depress my father.

Conservative gun nuts with more money than compassion depress me.

    Isolation depresses me.

O&A being taken off the air depresses me.

The fact that Howard Stern just isn't funny anymore depresses me.

    Smoking resin is quite depressing.

Waking up with a giant erection and no one to share it with is kind of depressing.

    Dreaming of ex-girlfriends...so, so depressing.

My sister marrying a crack dealer...now that depressing.
