Dead nations...the riddle

    I went through the dead nations and my guy didn't have a high enough wisdom to know the riddle answer (a 3rd word ending in ...gry). It's been bugging me...what is the answer?

    [​IMG] Are you ready for this.....the answer is "Tongue". The riddle is a trick..the real question is what is the third word in "The Common Tongue" the rest is just gibberish and has nothing to do with the riddle. Getting the answer depends or your intelligence as well as your wisdom. YOu should also have been able to challenge the riddling skeleton to a riddle contest but you get a little bit more exp if you get it straight away.

    I challenged him to a riddling contest the first time, but my dumb fighter failed on the first riddle.

    My mage hit the nail on the head though.

    Which riddle you liked most?


    My favorite was about a thing - one who made it haven't made it for himself, one who bought it haven't bought it for himself and one who it is for doesn't even know that it's for him. (coffin)

    Black Isle surely likes this one too - the same riddle you can find in BG2!

    Heh, I first saw it in a game kalled Betrayal at Krondor, from 1992 :) Beats any game I've played so far, Torment is second on my list.

    Trully, I played it longh ago, but don't remember that riddle. In fact there were so many chest riddles I simply couldn't memorize them all.
    And I agree about how great that RPG was. But PT made new breakthrus!
