Played it yes - not sure how it will compare to COD 2 to be honest.

Gameplay on the whole is OK although it doesn't quite have the feel of CSS for me.
Weapon recoil takes a bit of getting used to watching someone try and shoot the machine gun when not prone can be amusing.
HDR is nice - and the maps are very pretty.
Some maps are much better and balanced than others.
Playing on public servers without organisation tends to get chaotic as theres either too much flag guarding or too much rushing.
I'd give it a whirl - if you know some others who play it, but in order to get the most out of it you need to play as a team.
It sort of feels a but unfinished but at times I definitely had a sort of "saving private ryan" feel when playing as a sniper.

Our CSS clan may well branch out for this, as one of our members is the head admin for this on a popular UK ladder. If anyones interested in our server DOD server IP I'll post it here, but it comes down when we have CSS matches.
