    [​IMG] hi i am new and maybe this should go somewhere else but i dont understand how to play as another chr ex. drizzt. can some explain where the chr. files are and how to use them etc. please?

    When you create a character, the character is stored as .chr file in the Characters directory within the Baldur's Gate directory. Each .chr file represents a character which you can import into a new game to play.

    So, if you want to play Drizzt, put the drizzt.chr(or whatever the name is) file in the Characters directory, start a new game, in the character creation screen import the character and you can play with that character.

    I don't think you can do this with Singleplayer, Go to Multiplayer, start a new game and then you can Import a character. Choose Drizzt, start the game, save the game and copy the savegame from the directory MPSave to Save.

    [​IMG] thanxs a lot but where is the .chr file in baldirs gate? becuase i loooked in the program and didnt see it or in anything to do with black isle studios

    Normally the game is installed at C:bad:Program Files\Black Isle\Baldur's Gate

    Maybe you've installed the game somewhere else. Just go to Start, Search and search for map Baldurs's Gate and look where it is installed.
