Hey all! So I'm playing Baldur's Gate Trilogy. I recruited Edwin into my party and immediately went to the Gnoll Stronghold and killed the witch. Then a while later, Edwin demanded that I needed to kill the witch. I went back to the fort, and she's still dead, but Edwin's dialogue doesn't cue. I've tried searching for the variable I need to change through CLUAConsole, but found nothing. Could someone enlighten me please?:help:

Not that im an expert regarding these things, but since you've got no replies here's mine:
Had a similar problem this week with Tutu and a few other mods installed, i think i've fixed it by just deleting the whole Edwin global variable in Shadowkeeper. Might cause other small problems in the future, but at least he's staying around.

Thanks for the reply. I used Shadowkeeper to change (not delete) the proper variable the day after posting. I didn't get the proper dialogue, but at least I got to keep the best mage in the game.

Off topic, but I'm now on the final level of Watcher's Keep. After Demogorgon, Yaga-Shura is next. This is my first time making it this far with an evil party, and I gotta say, Edwin's extra spell slots alone makes him a much more interesting and productive mage than Imoen. And it's pretty funny how Viconia keeps telling him off for hitting on her:D

Cool, you are near end of ToB, you have really progressed to the end of this epic journey!

As for your problem, sometimes when the game has to set a quest and NPC related global, it may be disrupted if you immediately click on your characters and give orders. This happened me a few times before, so when you do a quest important thing (like killing some one off, for instance) after it be sure to wait for a few seconds and do not command your characters so that the scripts do their work properly and set the globals.

Edwin is useful for sure, if your PC is female you might have enjoyed Edwin Romance mod, I heard it was good.
