Dances with Wolves has a great score. So does Lotr and Gladiator, after that Lock Stock and two smoking barrels and Snatch come to mind.

but I like the instrumentals in those old Italian Zombie movies as well as 'Susperia's soundtrack played by the 'Goblins'.

Conan the Barbarian - I own the soundtrack.
Excalibur. How can you go wrong with Wagner and Carmina Burana?

Batman Begins has an EXCELLENT score. Especially that track, Eptesicus, is awesome.

Just like BOC and Svyatoslav I have to say CONAN.

I also like the soundtrack of the Queen of the Damned but Conan is way better, it is a true CLASSIC.

The Lord of the Rings soundtracks, and the Gladiator soundtrack for me. They're absolutely brilliant pieces of orchestration.

I can't belive nobody has mentioned any of Tarantinos films in here it just seems.... wrong. Yeah I know almost none of the songs were written for the film itself except the RZA's Robert Rodriguez's stuff in Kill Bill 1-2

Also the Score to the movie "Phone Booth" is amazing especially Dj Shadows song during the end credits "6 Days remix (feat Mos Def)" and the movie isn't half bad either

theGodless beat me to it. Yes, the Kill Bill soundtracks rocked. I also loved the LOTR soundtracks, all three.

Conan the Barbarian got my vote as well. That starting theme is perfect for the movie's darkness and overall tone. Great score.
