Hmm, yep - there are plenty of nice armors around that can resist daylight, so there´s no need to cheat around (though I admittedly cried honest tears for loosing my drow piwafwi :( - with the drow crossbow probably the best item there I think)

USING DROW STUFF AFTER LEAVING THE UNDERDARK IS FOR CHEATING COWARDS ONLY!

All right, after getting rid of that I feel better. However, I guess you can get through the game without an AC of -19

[IMG] If everyone did, I'm sure there would be a lot less people jumping around here crying that the game was too easy... Heh, if you exploit the game everywhere you can, it can be a piece of cake, really...

[IMG] Yep. That´s why I actually go to the following fights early in the game: (a) party in the sewers, (b) party in the waukeen propmenade pub and (c) to the guarded compound :D

With the loot from these fights you can get along quite nice for the largest part of the game. A field plate+1 *is* an excellent piece of armor anyway ...

    Hell, people!

I never said I used what I posted. I did it for the cheer purpose of giving out the info.

I never use Drow armor - not even in Underdark - I am too lazy to put it on and then off, because by the time I get to Chapter 5, I usually have all the side quests done and I'm well equipped.
