Bashing Religions?

    The part of that line that is often (too often perhaps) forgotten is "Vengeance is mine, Saith the Lord." It means that God will avenge the wrongs done. Whether this is to mean screwing with them in this life or damning them in the next or simply the feelings of anguish that are involved in true repentance (described in the Book of Mormon as "the pains of a damned soul" {Alma 36:16}), is yet to be determined. The victim is to forgive the offender and move on...

    That's a tad extreme. The view I've been told is that homosexuality is a temptation, to some just as potent (if not more potent) as that for any other sexual temptation. Committing homosexual acts is as severe as any other sexual transgression (fornication, adultery, pedophilia, beastiality) as they are all abominations before the Lord.
