I honestly hope, my dear Marce, that a future BG3 does not depend on Beamdog or Atari.
I'd rather Obsidian pitches it the way they did the Eternity and Torment.

Don't get me wrong, there was a time when a number of quality D&D CRPGs were being churned out, and I'm not knocking what has been great in the past.

But when I hear about a new D&D based computer game these days, I know better than to expect much.

I know. Even though I hate to admit it. Sucks! :o

I have read on the Bemdog site that the game is still on sale on sites other than Beamdog. The problem seems to be between Beamdog and the publisher only. It has to be about the split of the booty. I also noted in their FAQ about this issue that when asked if this will hold up the release of BG2:EE, they stated they are very far along in that game development. At least there is one tiny ounce of good news.

I hope this issue will be resolved.
But legal matters can take much time I fear...

The guys over at RPS have a few things to contribute to the Mystery of BG:EE.
And it does indeed look bad.
