Routine would only be a killer if you did the same thing every night

Personally I don't think it would be too difficult, but I'm nineteen still.

 

Geez, Octara's sure grown up. I remember when she wouldn't touch our lewd jokes with a ten-foot pole.

On topic: it'd be boring (and tiresome) if done every night, methinkths.

 

I've been busy

I don't think it would simply become a 'routine' unless you specifically allocated a time and place you'd do it like it was a meeting or some sort of weekly club. I can see it being every single night being unrealistic after a while. But if both are up for it and able - why not?

As for tiresome, I can imagine they slept better for the year anyway

As it is the decision was made with him in mind and ended up improving little things for the both of them.

Essentially she resparked the beginning of their relationship. Renewal is important for continuation. If it was done from first day of relationship to the last day I can imagine it being more jaded in meaning.

She simply broke the cycle where intamacy gives way to comfort which gives way to complacency.

A couple of basic problems between men and women:

Women want intimacy and affection to get in the mood for sex. Men use sex as a way to improve intimacy and affection.

Men become relaxed after sex -- relaxing during sex is bad. Women must be relaxed in order to enjoy sex -- being tense during sex is bad.​

I once heard a comedian who commented he hated when his girlfriend asked the question 'What do you think about during sex?' For a guy, you think about sports, the last movie you saw, what you had for dinner (what you want for breakfast) ... anything ... because once your think about what your doing -- it's over.

 

Getting off the subject of divorce for a bit...

The wife and I decided to not have sex for a few months before we got married. The honeymoon turned out to be a 2-3 times a day, every day event (being in Hawaii helped). The first year we averaged between 3-4 times a week. Not too long after our 1 year anniversary things slowed down to 1-2 times per week. But a few months ago, we were watching TV, and they were talking about the positive relationship effects that having sex at *least* once per day for an entire month can have. So we took the challenge, and I can say that we are defiantly closer as a married couple. There were times that I felt like Kitrax Jr. was going to fall off from over exertion, but it was well worth it. Now that Jessica is a model we're averaging 5-6 times a week.

I don't know if I could go a full year...sometimes our bodies just need a break.

 

My husband recently talked to a doctor about particular methods of birth control and when he told the doctor how often we had sex (we've been married 10 years) the doctor made a comparison between us and rabbits. I would personally like to cut the amount down a little bit because I do value my sleep but I'm sure my husband would be completely willing to try the 365 day challenge.

 

No way in hell I could pull it off - routine kills the magic.
