    Shura, it's not that bad. I spend my time as pioneer and it was fun to practise target shooting at -25^C and windy, lay mines to heavy banks of snow, and camp somewhere in middle of nowhere with only matches as your only source of any warmth. :cool:

    What I did not like was the constant watching. :nolike:

    [​IMG] Like sitting in a hole the whole night while dug-in, while the rest of the squad is sleeping, watching out for the "enemy", who you know is first going to attack in the morning, because the schedule says so? :(

    I'm the anti-tank gunner in my squad, (Carl Gustav Recoilless rocket launcher - Dysekanon m-85) and that means that more often than not, I'm having the "funny" task of being the security while we've taken up combat positions. After sitting in a stupid hole for more than 12 hours staring at the same dull horisont and knowing that nothing is going to happen anytime soon, you are just that close to going totally nuts... :eek:

    By the way, if you want to get some payback though, then do as follows! Walk some 50 m away from your position and take a look at it. Then say to your self: "I'f I was an attacker, where would I take up position?" Then go there and take a big **** and wait for the morning to come...

    (Haven't seen anyone use my "position", but it makes the night go a little faster....) :D
