Oh, by the way, has anyone checked the Harper Mage from dragon magazine? I liked the 3.0 version, but I heard they updated it now... Any comment?

@The Shaman: In which issue can I find the updated version? Sounds interesting.

Did they update the Harper Priest, too?

I'm not sure, I saw it on the WotC boards... Dragon 311, perhaps, but don't take my word for it.

yea it was 1) druid 2)wizard 3)cleric though this was before the druid nerf to his wild shape.

Also rmember some classes look weak or strong on paper but turn out not so bad. The warlock is a great example of this. On paper many people think it is horribly overpowered, but in actual practice (if useing the rules correctly) it isnt bad at all and wizards and other major spellcasters own warlocks at high levels. That said sorcerers look weak as well but from personal experiance and imput from actual sorcerer players that are not really any weaker. Besides who plays a full 20 level wiz/sorc anyway when multiclassing into other classes/prestige classes are so much fun and so rewarding? (watch someone will say they do just watch!)

I don't think we will have many of those... esp. lvl 20 sorcerers. Unless you mean the ultimate versions that exist on the WotC board forums; those are almost good enough to let me say bye to most PrCs.

I'll every once and a while try to run a sorcerer or wizard to high levels for RP reasons (more often a sorcerer since they're very easy to role play as "unfocused", some times a specialist wizard will stay pure just because they're sometimes very difficult to multi-class into a prestige class because of restrictions). However since I don't have a set of friends who play and am therefore forced to play with relative strangers at a local hobby shop, it's not always easy to get a game that lasts anywhere near long enough to get to higher levels. Odd class/race combinations like a halfling sorcerer may also stay pure as so he/she doesn't have to deal with multi-class penalties.

Well, you can still get into some good PrCs without taking levels in another core class, can't you?
