Anyone else have an enemy they absolutely hate in a game?

Facecrabs in Half-Life, they need more ammo than they're worth, and hitting them with crowbar is just too tedious.

Really, shotgun is too powerful, pistol is too weak... And they jump really long as well.
Well, i still managed to kill them all and complete the game :)

The spawn in Quake were just crap. Blue blancmanges that just splogg-splogged around headbutting you until they exploded, leaving you with no armour and 2% health for no acceptable reason. At least by Nightmare you were adept enough to run through them most of the time, but their mere presence basically spoilt Act IV for me. At least Vore-balls were dodge-able with some skill & luck. Grr. :grr:

    I forgot quite a few;

Chaos in the First Final Fantasy, I mean 2000 hp and CUR4? That's not even funny!

I still think Confusion is one of the most fu**** annoying spell created.

The Tortured Soul boss in Dragon Quest 8. At the level you are at this point it's only a pain the a**.

I just begun re-playing Morrowind and I had forgot how ****ingly annoying the damn Slaughterfish were. They're tie with the damn cliff racers.

    - T Hawk in Streetfighter 2. I hate his stupid diving move and he seems to whiff everything I do from a mile off. Bah!

    - My Pacman vote goes to the red ghost (I believe his name is Blinky). Its always him that gets me.

    - Jinpachi Mishima in Tekken 5. Redefines the obligatory cheesy end boss that curses many a fighting game.

Heh...the monsters in Pacman were daft, so predictable. I had a route, it never failed. Well...up until the 12th key or something, after that you somehow lost some speed which interrupted the route, so from there on i had to improvise. anyway, noone ever beat me yet. :D

'Stefan' from One Must Fall, along with come others I can't remember at the moment.
Prince Arthas from Warcraft...ehh...III? And that stupid guy that goes 'Let's see'. Gahhh! :flaming:
The reaperbots in the original Quake (in the game with reaperbots, not the actual quests and stuff) who camp in one spot with rocket launchers. Plus they've *all* got perfect aim.
General 'something' in one of the campaigns in Heroes of Might and Magic...err...III. Just sits in his castle all day.
Fetishes in Diablo II and their shamans. Noisy little things. I especially hate the undead fetishes, they even sound wierder. You're like, in the dungeon and all of a sudden you hear this ghastly breathing...well, I can't describe it.

Everquest II: the bears in the Thundering Steppes. They have this huge aggro range and they're flaming everywhere. Really piss off your level 27 and lower characters especially since you're hunting specific enemies that spawn in the same area but you never hunt those bears for any quest.

Metro Cops in Half Life 2. Boring to fight and rediculously dumb. The combine are equally boring, just a little smarter.

Insect/Tiny scurrying things that're hard to shoot (in FPS games, naturally)

    Illithids.

Cespenar (not really an enemy, more of an annoying voiced stupidly childish little moronic creation)

Vampires, if only for their damn level draining habits

Whatever attacks you when you rest in BG2.

I'm trying to heal after a damn battle, press 'z', and twenty orcs appear, and eat me since I've only got 20HP left.

    Damn thems all, preciousssss.

    I dislike:
Mutant creatures and zombies in Thief 1+2 (zombies were less annoying in Thief 3).

The Flood in Halo. There were just so many of them.

The big guys with Rocket Launcher Arms in Far Cry (especially the last couple of levels which were FULL of them, and then the final boss took 1 hit to kill, bah).

Not a big fan of Cliff Racers in Morrowind. More than that I hated the assassin dude who came whenever you tried to sleep after installing Tribunal expansion.

Thinking back to a game I've not played in a while - Hidden and Dangerous. The snipers on that were a crack shot at a huge distance. I couldn't even see anyone in my sniper scope from that distance and they still annihilated me.

Any bad guy that some modder just put into a game to see how fast he can kill the player (I'm thinking of you, Breudayael D'Sorpal).

Any enemy from the original Ninja Gaiden for Nintendo. Grrrr...I'm getting mad just thinking about that game. :flaming:

Also, that big wierd scorpion demon in Devil May Cry.

Well, firstly remind me not to travel to Finland, as they'd hate me, my steady, precise hand and hawk-like eye... :good:

W/R/T deathmatch and multiplay, any twitch-wristed little pre-pubescent that can rocketjump into on me, nail me with their HE ordinance and leap clear without dying themselves... :grr:
(I suppose I should expect it; this type of player is the key sniper-killer, anyway... )

As for TES3, I'd go more for anything *blighted* rather than cliff racers or slaughterfish in particular. Try getting your strength weakened by the disease to the extent you cannot move, and have neither cure potions/scrolls nor any means of teleporting to same... :o

Aye, mind flayers just cheese me off; they 'get up my right nostril' so to speak. (sorry...no, no I'm not :D ) All those expenditures on defenses and restoratives, and one simple hit later, the character is rendered irretreivably dead due to a dietary prediliction. :nolike:

Oh, and any FPS uber-villian who hides themselves behind a precarious environment that requires platform-game activities to reach. Yes, I wear a hat, have a mustache and use braces to keep my pants up, but I'm neither Italian nor a plumber and GORRAMMIT, I HATE heights!!!
