Another way to think about Kensai

    Why do you think kensais suck? I dont think there is any one truly crap class or kit in the game, kensais happen to one of my favourite with good reason - they are simply awesome.

    So, to give a general example, you'd prefer to have 4 main hand attacks instead of 3 main, 1 off-hand and extra effects? Personally, I agree with Aldeth- Belm loses its relevance in ToB where you can have a powerful off-hand weapon that also grants bonus effects.

    While I agree that Kensai's aren't the greatest class, they're very good at dealing out a ton of damage... fast.

    If you want to use Crom Faer in your offhand, the best (powergaming) race for your protagonist is actually Halfling.

    If you're good, losing 1 point of DEX doesn't hurt, they have awesome saving throws, and the STR doesn't matter since you'll have a 25 from Crom Faeyr.
