    He nods briefly in reply.

"I am cursing myself for not trying to get more details from the Major before we left. Do we even know what is inside the Primary? Well, never mind. Best take a cautious approach, head down the road towards this spot (he points to the crossroad at 3), then continue south. Once we get to a point in the road where we can cut directly across field, to the Primary, we'll take it."

John slips the map away and begins to set off down the road. As he continues, he quietly asks,

"Aleza, do you have anything that we could use to take down the target from a distance? Or are we going to have to get in close and set some explosives?"

Miguel shakes his head, lips pursed. "I don't know what's in there, Staff Sergeant, but I doubt a 40-mm grenade would be enough. I can wreck communication equipment, I guess, but nothing harder." It might have been better if I had brought a LAW or something like that, he thought. We might have to improvise... when we get there.

The squad moves quickly across the field to the road directly south then move down it to the cross roads, checking left and right they see no one, straight ahead though behind some hedge rows they can see a house two stories high at the base of the hill. Moving south they come to a point that is directly opposite the objective, luckily they've made good time and its still dark enough to make it across the open ground unnoticed. They're backs hit the wall of the closest of the four buildings just east of the objective, they weren't much more than single story shacks but they were solid cover and looking round the corner allowed a limited view over the man high walls of the target complex.

They spot a couple of guards on the roof aswell as a satellite dish, a cable extends from it and disappears through a window below. Armed with this little bit of intel, the squad makes a silent dash for the wall as they come to the wall John accidentally makes some noise, and one of the guards shouts something to another.

"tum wo ye kya jaa Aour dekh sun tha"

tentative crude translation of "You hear that? Go check it out" into Urdu...probably very innaccurate (free translator lol) but adds some character! Feel free to claim some basic knowledge of the language

Miguel's face sours as he whispers something under his breath. He looks around for a second, then makes a ""What was that?" gesture to the other two. He tries to keep as quiet as possible and strains to hear if someone's coming.
