I have heard rumors that Shivan killed Hoet, any truth or this? If so why, I would of thought they would of gotten along fine, though come to think of it Shivan seems sorta cvc happy.

 

No, Shivan isn't CvC happy, he hates it, and yes, he did kill Hoet, but he's still around. Shivan has to play his character, *shrugs* thats why he's lashed out at people such as Wulfgar and Loengrin before. And teh more I hang around Shivan, the more I become like him my druid CvC'd lolla66 about a week ago, I made sure that there was a DM present and Voran said it was all perfectly Legal, besides, there was no way I could loose Hignar, myself, Aaron, Shivan and Moonshade. Anyway, Lolla66 has been watched by teh NC DM's for the past age, he's a known PG'er, according to others, he used Broken spells against Enemies, and he's had about 10 characters in teh week prior to me killing him, and each of them hit level 2/3. I swear, some of the loot he had, a level 3 should never have been able to afford, let alone get there hands on,

about 3 magical items and a hell of alot of other stuff.

To manke it even better, he was threatening to kill me within 48 hours in chat, teehee, and I knew for a fact that he was going to gang kill me. ((He fled from me during our first one on one fight, fled into the city and his connection is a lot faster then mine by the looks of it, by the time I connected he was long gone))

I played with Shivan when he was lower levels and he didn't CvC as much. Though I myself am becomming quite CvC happy so it doesn't really matter much. Darn people keep slapping and dumping water on me, what do they expect me to do!

 

Yes you are. I can see one coming up right now. That silly little halfling shouldn't have stolen that dagger though.

Pretty fun being the only druid in NC, I get to feature in the majority of Vorans plot lines I have a feast to attend on Friday, gonna be fun.

 

what's the status of alfa as of late?
http://www.alandfaraway.net/ has been down for quite some time now.

 

ALFA is still running, website is down, all ALFA related stuff is going on therough the forums. But the forums are being evil at the moment, at least they are for me.

beta servers have gone live, such as Triboar, Undermountain and Skull port and The Pirate Isle, to name a few off the top of my head.

Vale of Lost Voices is coming back as a server, since it was lost during ALFAgeddon. Umm, what else...

Ugh, plenty of servers in Beta 2-3, servers such as Menzo and Ched (under dark) But I think those two servers have been combined, not sure.

Thats it for the moment, I think.

 

Yup, ALFA is live and kicking!
We even have our very own Thay server coming along soon (give it a month or three).
The Underdark servers have combined to form one massive one, known us Underdark North.
We now have our very own Hall of Fame. The entire ALFA economy is been rewritten to increase the magic items, like Faerun should be.
PrCs are going to be introduced in a few months.
And we currently have 11 (by memory) live servers, with over 30 in Beta stages (I think those numbers are right).

And then of course, as was announced today

So yes, ALFA is still alive and healthy. Looking better than it has in a long long time.

 

Boo, hey LoG was down today so thought I'd have a run through ALFA. Nice to see you guys still here.

How do I find out what the game password is? I remember it used to be at the top of the page when you logged into the member part of the old site, but it doesn't do that now. It's been a while since I looked and I've forgotten it. Any help will be greatly appreciated (BTW, the haks ought to arrive soon, maybe I'll finally get on )

 

What level is she? Last time I look she was 5. Course to get to 7 you have to survive the dragon.

 

Alright, Rotku's decided to take a break from ALFA. I'll still be around ALFA but not doing any work for another month or so. I've been finding I'm getting bored with TPIs so decided to take a break. I'm currently thinking of joining up to one of the currently deserted servers (IWD, BG or Anarouch) when I come back, although I've still got to make up my mind about that.

@fade, we're playing Moyen turnbased Iccy is gonna pause the server every now and then, gonna be fun. Enough time for me to bolt when the going gets nasty.

 

Ah, stuff the month break. I'm back into ALFA already. I've begun building The Labyrinth, a 100x50 mile maze complete with moving walls and Baphitaurs. It's going to join up with the Northern Underdark once it goes live (3 months at the latest). If any one wants to give any help, feel free to say so

 

Well, I've got my haks installed, my membership accepted and my password (again, thanks Rotku) but when I try to go on one of the servers it say's it's timed out. Have I need to worry, or do I just need to wait a couple of days? Thanks in advance.

BTW is it still on the 1.61 patch?

You PC will stay in your player vault, if thats what you mean?
