How difficult is it to be accpeted by ALFA. I applied once over 3 months ago and never got a reply. I wonder if it is worth applying again?

 

Strange you got no reply... they send it whether you're accepted or not. Not that i've ever seen "you didnt get in! HAHA!" mail from ALFA

(ahem, excuse me a bit, i just came home and i'm not in a normal state currently, couse i just did some big test - with friends around who did it as well. You can guess what happened then )

 

Why won't they hurry up and elect and Admin?! Then The Pirate Isles can go live!!
It's so boring in Beta when one is ready to go live, there's nothing to do

 

Would be cool if a gang of us SP'ers could get together on Pirate Isle Beta some time.

Frost, there already is one, and as soon as the Isles go live he will be spending some quality time there. You know, selling magic weapons, scroll, drugs, the usual ya know?

 

Oh, yeah there's a PC mercenary working for bandits in the eastern NC. As i hear, there'll soon be quite a few more bandits around there
Krbang(Selgaunt DM) and i have talked a bit and decided some cross-server plots would be quite cool. With a large group of mercenaries especialy

Ooo, You know, Tris used to be lawful neutral, but I'm becoming chaotic evil. Zicada hawks over me and alters my alignment accordingly.

Scattering bones to prevent undead from rising. more evil. And most recently he caught me ... 'borrowing' some water from Amy's fountain. more chaotic.

Ah well, its fun my alignment changing.
And Gothmog, aslong as theres a chance of some loot, and Tris to get a name for herself, count me in.

 

Kric is now in Arabel city. Seems he found himself a nice ally. 2 gps to anyone who can guess who that is.

Tris pops into there every now and then for a shopping day.

Much intregue (sp?) around Thamier, all very interesting. Personally I'm quite glad Thamier is on the run, one more day of him trying to hit on my poor Tris and I would have to get my Katana out on him.

 

Is anyone here interested in a fun sort of session this coming Friday night/Saturday morning. I'm trying to arrange it to be European friendly to give the other half of the world a change to see the greatness of The Pirate Isles This is just a fun thing before we go Live, to say good bye to the Beta stages.

I'm going to try and involve a little bit of everything, from ship combat, to exploring the islands to NPC interactions, to hunting dragons. Well maybe not dragons, unless someone is particully stupid, but you get the idea.

I should be able to get some more detailed posted up in the ALFA forums if any one is interested.

 

Woop! Sounds great. I'll go check it out later, but If I can make it time wize, then count me in. I'll try come up with a decent character design and play around on the server a bit before.

 

Set sails to the Pirate Isles tonight!
When the clock strikes 8pm over in England it will mark the begining of a gamingish session thingy in The Pirate Isles. It's a way of saying good bye to the Beta stages, as we should be going Live with the coming of the new admin. Everyone's invited, including DMs if you'd like a brake from DMing.

So set the sails towards the Isles, and be there intime for some Beta fun

 

To bad my level 5 beta character disappeared. Was looking forward to fireballin Frostbite

Btw there was some great fun in Selgaunt this night. Had some good fights in there. There were both CvC and Player vs creature fights. Plenty of betting was invloved and I lost all that I had won on Franin(grrrr, no fair him fighting something that attacks are +23 +18 +14 +10 with a flaming sword). To bad that Kage decided to fight someone else, so I didn't get a fight. He probaly would of beaten me. Level 4 mage vs a level 4 fighter is tough on the mage. Was all great fun though.

As soon as I figure out drokkar's email I will send him a screenie i took, so he can host it for all to see.

 

*sniffle*

My PC time was shortened so I couldn't get online for the arena.

A very frusterating experience in BG was turned around thanks to Andrew. Me and meebu somehow got stuck in an AT, so we basically stuck in two areas. The worst part was, there was an ant spawn in there. So as we ran from some ants, we AT'ed back, and the ants followed us. This process was repeat for about 15 minutes till I gave up and signed off. Meebu stayed on continueing the process till Andrew signed on and saved us. We then had a little fun with a halfing rogue that lead us to some town north of where we were. Then I had fun talking to a red wizard while meebu ran in circles.

The greatest part about the whole thing was when we were in the Inn where we met the halfing. Meebu kept running in circles, and then decided to spontanteously collapse. Not sure why it was so fun, but we were both falling out of our chairs. Sad, I know, but ah well.

 

Rotku's doing some part time DMing in IWD at the moment, which is turning out to be great fun. It's so different from DMing on TPIs, and not jsut because of the numbers around. Just been in a heavily rural server changes it a lot.

 

Bonita(Yuki SpellCold) and Hardpungt (Voran Ma'ferr) have become ADMs for Arabel City and Northern Cormyr.
A very welcoming addition to the team, since Icarus(HDM) is pretty busy real-life and has to take care of the more hardware buisness. The other ADM - Zicada cant play that much either - has the vault buisness. And i lack time to play as much as i would want. Analog Kid comes every so often, but he has Arabel to take care of (he's HDM of AC).
So expect some more live action on NC these days
I'll try my best to be up there too. Voran and Yuki both seem to have huge amounts of time available for ALFA, so it'll really liven the server up.
