    Wow.
It was an action movie. It provided good action sequences. I thought it delivered what it promised. If I wanted to see good drama, acting, dialog or the like then I wouldn't be rocking up to 300.

I saw, I was rather disapointed but not greatly. I noticed all the things people have bashed the movie for but I kinda see things one step further. In my mind the Spartans were depicted as an exagerated cariacture of an outdated ideal fighting for reasons anyone who cared to look at twice knew is baloney. Orcs and ogres aside and you could as well see the Persian army as a tribute to diversity, of a succesful blending of people with little to no care about etnicity, race or anything else.

As I saw the movie it mocked and showed more disdain for the Spartans and their fascist ways. Could just be that I am too naive and am reading too much into it but if you look at the money in the way the people who criticize it do I end up thinking it is a poke to western patriotism and a satire of the old man and brotherhood ideals.
