    Hello
    I am doing watchers keep again.I seem to be stuck on the first level.I have the candle,and the bell,and the book.The promblem is when I put the candle and bell on the alter the statues do not attack me?I dont see what I am missing here.
    Any ideas?

    Question:

    Have you visited the clerical lich in one of the north rooms?

    You can either kill him and his golems, or give him his slippers back. Afterwards, look into his sarcophagus. It indicates which page of the book you need to turn to, otherwise you can never get the ritual started.

    Yes I did give the Lich his slippers.Maybe I dont have the right book.The book I have is the History of demi-gorgan,I believe,I am at work now so i cant check the game but I think thats it.

    I don't think the book you need is called anything except "The Book". And isn't it already on the altar? Or am I thinking of something else?

    The book under discussion is round, of all things. IIRC, you find it on the altar already, but you'll need to enter every room to make sure you have all the gear you'll need to do the ritual and get the right page -- perhaps you need to pick the book up off the altar and put it back.
