[Mod] Spellcasting Amulet for IWD2 2022-03-30

Permanent improved alacrity, 0 casting time

    This amulet grants the wearer permanent Improved Alacrity (aura cleansing), 0 casting time for all spells, +3 Deflection Bonus, and +1 HP regen every 10 seconds.

    0 casting time mostly works but it's a little iffy. If you throw out lots of spells and your computer is struggling to keep up, casting more spells will take more time. Also, some spells seem to simply wait for a long casting animation to be over before the spell is thrown out. In any case, spellcasting is definitely sped up.

    The deflection bonus and HP regen have been added only because I wanted a decent description to go with the item. Otherwise it would have been blank or I would have to ask you to update core game files.

    Therefore, seeing that I have reused the description of another item for this one, you will not see the spellcasting boosts in the item description. However, you will see a Vocalize icon on your portrait and character sheet. Your character is not vocalized -- I have simply used the icon to indicate your spellcasting boosts.

    Extract the file into the game's Override folder.
    The item code is 000AmGod
    With cheats enabled, open the in-game console (Ctrl+Tab) and enter:
    CtrlAltDelete:CreateItem("000AmGod")
