I have to admit that I place alignments on people ALL THE TIME now. I got it from playing P&P D&D though not BG. I always like sneaking up on my friends and backstabing them. Or, when there is a mass of annoying people together you say to your frinds "A fireball would be nice right about now." My friends and I also like to guess people's stats. "Damn man! He has like a 16 Strength!" (But you have to think about it with moderation. IE: A 13 Intelligence is the equivilent to having 130 IQ, 14 = 140, etc.)

i scared the shit out of my best friend when i thrusted my longsword at him. He didnt understand when i told him that is was just a

Question- are there any nice, cheap, and sharpened swords out there i can buy? my unsharpened renaissance festival longsword costed $134! looks good though.

 

Just buy a pirate costume and throw away everything but the sword and marker +4 on it somewhere.

I'm going to do that and take it to the D&D movie when it comes out.

i know about the swords'n'stuff site, its great. im saving up some cash for the black knights sword and its companion dagger. just one more week at work and its mine! god that'll look sweet on the wall. do you think i should use it in the renaissance festival? thats my part time job when its on the road. i do a few spars with my brother in the pit. damn its fun. makes you feel like drizzt, though i know he could kick my ass anyday...oh well!

 

Last night I was reading my daughter a Sleeping Beauty picture book for bedtime. At the point where the good fairies give the prince the "Sword of Truth" and the "Shield of Virtue," I started wondering to myself what the AC bonus of the shield and the Thac0 rating of the sword were. It's a sickness.
