Yoshimo and armor

    I just tried to upgrade Yoshi's armor from standard studded leather, to studded leather +2, yet it had no impact on his AC....

    bug?

    Must be. What do the stats for both say? How much AC are they supposed to be, respectively?

    It could also be that Yoshi has some sort of ghost armour or similar spell on him that would reduce his AC to a fixed figure for the duration of the spell. AC wouldn't change until it wears off in that case.

    what kind of question is that??? jerk.

    he's going from a studded leather armor, ac7, to studded leather armor +2, ac5.

    he's got no magic armor on him.

    Did he wear some fancy braclets of armor class? Doing so they would override the armor - I gave Imoen the AC-4 bracs and dressed her in the elven chain +1 without reduction in AC.

    Maybe you gave him a bow when he had a katana?
    He gets - one extra AC for using 1 weapon style, the other AC, I don't know? Maybe you removed a ring or something?

    Easiest way to find out: strip him of everything but the armour, then try them on. ;)
