    Thinking about starting a Wrath Of The Gods Party will all clerics...or cleric multis and duels. My main character is going to be a cleric of Talos. What is everyone thoughts on this class. And can evil clerics control undead...?

    [​IMG] Evil clerics can turn undead, and if their level is high enough they can occasionally control them. Not bad.

    [​IMG] The Cleric is strong character. Personally, I like the priest of Lothander. Plus, I've realized there are plenty of good blunt weapons in BG2. For me, it was Yeslick in BG1 and my cleric in IWD that made me realize what an awesome class it is. Yeah, I'm the one who liked Yeslick.

    There should be more priest kits, 3 arent enough, it wouldnt be hard work to make them.
    The only difference are 2 abilities.

    Also be careful about having good and bad clerics mixed in the same party it makes one of their best spells very difficult to use in combat: Holy Smite and Unholy Blight. Both spells can cause nearly 80 points of damage to all within a 20' radius by the end of the game as well as inflicting other penalties. Not bad for a 3rd level spell! The downside is they each affect the opposite alignment so you can hurt your own party if it is mixed.

    I like the idea of the 'holy party' though. You'll have to get some chanting music to play in the background.

    Too bad there aren't more evil priest kits. I really want to play an evil party of clerics. I guess I will have to make my Cleric of Talos and a bunch of evil generic priests.

    I was kind of thinking of adding a bard...A skald to play some dark metal before we trounce off into battle.
