Wizard Stronghold??

    Right, we have the Rogue Stronghold, Fighter stronghold and Cleric stronghold.

    What about a wizard stronghold? Is there one? And if so, where is it?

    Are there strong holds for the other classes now that I think about it?

    There is the Planar Sphere in the Athkatla slums for wizards.
    The umar hills (IIRC) village for rangers.
    Some paladial order (IIRC the order of the radiant heart) in the temple district in Athkatla.
    There could be more but I'm not quite sure.
    What is the bard stronghold, anyone?
    And the monk stronghold?

    I'll tell the location of each one, but not how to get them

    -Cleric's stronghold is in the temple district, based on the alignment (Lathander: good, Helm: neutral, Talos: evil)
    -Paladin stronghold is a room in the hall of the order of the most radiant heart (temple district)
    -thief stronghold is mae'var's guildhall in ths docks
    -bard's is the playhouse beneath the five flagons inn
    -ranger's is the cabin (not valygar's) in the umar hills
    -fighters, monks, and barbarians get the the de'Arnise keep
    -mages and sorcerers get the planar sphere
    -Druid's is the druid grove

    and thats it

    Ah excellent :) So I have stumbled across and completed all of those strongholds ... just generally without the right class :p

    I dunno why it's so hard to figure out though ;) , no offence in a ny way to anyone of course, but if you're a ranger and a ranger protects the umar hills who is killed, you can assume your stronghold will be around there. The mage? Where's the weirdest and most magical place in the entirety of athkatla? The planar sphere. And of course the druid being in the druid's grove (and the fact that one of the save game/area moving messages tells you that you have to be lvl 14 to challenge for leadership of one :p . The cleric, has to be a temple, that's their life. Bard I actually had to read about but once I learned it was one of those slap your head situations. But it's all good.
