    There is a combination staff of ... , robe of ... and amulet of ...
    can someone tell me the names (i have never done this combination and i want to try it ... ) and where can i find 'em

    That would be:
    "Robe of Vecna" (Adventurer's Mart/Deirdre/bonus merchant)
    "Staff of the Magi" (Bridge District/The Twisted Rune/search the boards if you don't know how to find The Twisted Rune)
    "Amulet of Power" (reward from Renald Bloodscalp if you take the "good" path)

    I've made his quest , but now how to take this "good " path now (he reward me only with the sword) (i've done the quest with mae'var)

    The original post was wrong. It's the reward you get from Aran Linvail. You are correct about Renal only giving you a sword.

    There is also a mod called Stuff of the Magi which creates and places some excellent items for mages into the game. A little overpowered, but excellent for a mage character. It is available here on SP in the downloads section.

    It is nice for a solo mage, though. :D

    Yeah IMHO permanent improved alacrity is just overkill. Have other mage stuff, autopause when spellcasted, and you can solo the game without any real difficulty at all! Avoid it like plague OK?
