[IMG] Trying to start a new game playing a wild mage for the first time. However, there's hardly anything I can use! Spell scrolls, daggers, a few wands...most of the things a mage can use and everything he can't are showing up as "unusable" (i.e. I can't equip them). Also, my character kit description is for straight-up mage rather than wild mage. I created another game as a straight-up mage, and another as a conjurer, and didn't encounter the problem. Seems to be wild mage-related only. And yes, I have the TOB patch and Baldurdash installed (and before any mods).

Anyone know what's going on here? I can list the mods I have if need be, but they've never given me any trouble before; the buggiest of the lot is Improved Asylum (I uninstalled the Planar Sphere mod to see if it would fix the problem... it didn't).

I had the same problem but in bg1-tutu. I had installed tutu tweaks mod only. I think the component i installed was the one that allowed wild mage (and barbarian) dual class. It is called Expanded Dual-Class Options. I didn't have any other mods installed but i'm not sure about Bags of Holding component too. This mod also has a bg2 version called BG2 Tweak Pack. I think it should be the reason if you have it.

You're a genius, Dengo! That was indeed the problem.

I posted the bug over at G3.

Adn responded. I've got it fixed locally, but you'll need to wait for the next release. Sorry for the inconvenience.
