I am having a wierd stuttering problem at the start of the game, Imeon all of a sudden will take a few steps and stop moving, if i tell her to detect traps, she will for a few seconds and stops. The other characters will move but they pause, look at her, move, pause, look at her, move. Tried reloading the game and it keeps on doing this, don't mind restarting if that is the only way to fix it, just wondered if there was a workaround.

You got the latest patch? :s

It might be a problem that the Baldurdash Fix Pack can sort out aswell, have you got that?

Try the two above if you haven't. If not I can only really advise starting a new game and seeing if the problem still occurs :(

Unless anyone else knows a solution?

This is usually a problem with Aerie, Jaheira and Viconia after installing a buggy multiple romance patch.

Have you installed the Immy romance MOD ?

This happend to me with Jaheira and Viconia when I installed the TDD mod. When I would pick Viccy up Jaheira and Viccy would only walk about an inch (on the screen) and stop. The only way I could fix it is kick either Viccy or Jahiera out. Try screwing around with the members of your party, see if any are conflicting.

The latest patches are installed but I do have BGT installed, so that might be the problem. I'll check it out, worst comes to worst, I'll reinstall.

Just out of curiousity, did you do a complete reboot of your machine and then jump straight into BG (open up Windows Explorer or a few other programs and you've basically messed up the game engine)?

The latest patch is supposed to help, and I very highly doubt that a mod is responsible for an engine problem (Microsoft doesn't let you close their programs properly).
