Why does the game crash when...

    Why does the game crash when I cast Khelbens Warding Whip?? I'm in Watchers Keep, and for no real reason the game shuts down just as the spell hits the target, (In this case a human mage), has anyone else had this problem? and if so, is there a patch out there to fix it??

    You could download the official patch, which might fix it, but I think the best solution is to reinstall your game. This will not be retroactive to your saved game.

    The problem sounds like a corrupted file.

    Thanks, ill try that, and i also discovered that my party no longer rests until healed... in fact, sometimes there is no change after resting for 8 hours... another bug? Whatever, ill try to patch the game. Thanks for the help.

    Always download patches as soon as they come out... Most of the problems are cause by bugs in v0.9-1.0 games. :nolike:
