Who's Suna Seni?

    From experience, most named characters in BG are either important or quest-related. Or just a BIS employee :)

    But Suna Seni? Just what is her place? (other than meeting her death on my mace) In this game?

    Suna attacks the party on its travel transit and drops the Arbanne+2 short sword.
    Could she be one of the characters from BG1 or some other past important figure from BG1 and TotSC?

    Hmmm, I've always wondered about that as well, but the conclusion I keep coming up with is that she's got a name just because she gives you that sword. Although I guess she might have been from BG.
    Could it be anothere compitition thing like that person with the katana in the docks?

    She features in the "Unfinished Business" mod, as an ex lover (?) of Valygar. I haven't done his quest yet so i don't know much more

    Suna Seni was originally supposed to have a much larger role in the game, back when Bioware was going to use the Minor Villains encounter (which was replaced by the Spellhold sequence). They went ahead and just threw her in a random encounter because they didn't have a better place for her, I suppose.

    She was intended to be the ex-lover of Valygar but she became wrapped up in working for Irenicus. During the Minor Villains encounter, if Valygar was in your party, she would switch sides and fight with CHARNAME & Co. Because she was under a geas, however, she would die after the fight was over.

    In the Unfinished Business mod, we tried to give her back a larger role in the game. She now appears in the Copper Coronet, instead of a random encounter, and will assist in your search for Valygar, and will appear in Spellhold if Valygar is in your party, as well.

    So is she a joinable NPC in the UB mod? Or just someone who gives you a hand in finding Valygar but who can't join the party (like, say, Bodhi or Balthazar at the end of TOB)?

    No, she isn't recruitable, though she will offer. We did include a portrait for her in case someone Ctrl-Q'd her, but I really wouldn't recommend it.
