Celestial fury and ring of Gaxx is my favroid and i always get them as soon as possible.

Crom faeyr, Celestial fury, Carsomyr.

Nuff said.

 

THe equalizer works well as an off hand sword. And the Bladesinger mail at the end is sweet for Fighter/mages, like me.

 

Flail of the ages, daystar, carsomyr, C`Fury, sling of everard and Tansherons bow.
Ring of gaxx, amulett of power, vecnas robe, shadow armor and drow piwawafi.
Plenty of field plates +1 as soon as possibl

just to name a few

 

I try to get the robe of vecna as soon as possible for my mages that robe rocks even though its graphics sucks.
The celestial fury is extremely usable almost overpowered the stun effect works almost everytime and that makes most melee fights quite easy.

 

Daystar, Carsomyr, healing potions, protection from evil spells and stoneskin spells.

 

Gauntlets of Dexterity, i cant name a game where i didnt give em to korgon or minsc, or even one of the mages..

 

Ditto for glasses of ID. I also use Flail of Ages and Wyverns Tail dual weilded most of all.

Those two axes they sell in the copper coronet. I have a dual wielding dwarf who has used em' since he got em'.

Is that Azure-edge and Frostbrand? There's one other on I use, too. It can't be thrown but does major damage.

 

I be saying that due to good side of the game (constant opposition o' vampires) Daystar be the most useful weapon, fer ye can get it early and it does wonders (what other item has a lvl7 priest spell imbued in it?)

Daystar is a very devastating weapon, if only it would be a +3 weapon!

It would be the best!

But...it isn't, and therefore it can't hurt vampyre's and greater mummies...SIGH!!!

I "tin"k that the staff of the magi has spell trap imbuned in it. It is a level 9 spell!!!

Daystar was made to destroy evil and gets +4 against evil , so it is escpecially good against vamps and greater mummies!!!
It does 2d8 +4 damage to evil...

BTW. I'm having a berserker now, and he has 5 points in two handed swords as wel as 2 points in two handed weapons. Now I got that sword of chaos, which used to be Sarevok's (first time through, I missed that statue of the air ellemental and couldn't open teh door and missed the sword, bummer!).
But now I think it is almost the best twohanded sword in the game, except for Carsomy, but I can't use that, since I'm not a Paladin.
Lylarcor is great, but doesn't give me extra hitpoints per hit.
I think that sword you get from the demon in the Kua-Toa area is as good as the sword of chaos, since it gives -2 thaco per hit to your opponent.
Now why do they give you such a good sword that early in the game?
I mean:
Daystar requires killing a lich
Celestial Fury requires killing a tough party
Carsomyr requires killing Firkraag
Crom Fayer needs to be assembeled.
Lylarcor needs to be collected with riddles.
Etc. Etc.
Why can you obtain this sword so easy, it's like they give it to you...
