Preferably BG, Torment, or PoR. (Sorry no NPCs join in IWD)

But if you really want, you could chose characters from other games.

I will tell you about me after you have posted or guessed (who I resemble). I will also take a stab if any of you want me to guess who you are most like. NOTE: only familiar with BGI & BGII NPCs and the Planescape: Torment ones. Not real big on PoR - but who is?

 

My knowledge of the games you mentioned was limited so I have decided that I am like two characters. First the unlikely Fox from Super Smash Bros (N64). Quick, light, but able to kick most peoples butts when needed. Second, I am like Ganondorf from Zelda: The Ocarina of Time (N64). I am powerful and smart and like to be controlled by none.

 

If you're smart, powerful, and like to be controlled by none, I'd say you are Edwin from Baldur's Gate I and II.

I would have to say I'm most like the main guy on Final Fantasy 9 just because I'm hyper, always want to do something, and my favirote animal is monkeys and I think that lead dude is a monkey.

 

I think I'm most like Minsc or Ajantis.

The guard "Hull" in candlekeep.

That would be me. Guarding a citygate where no real traffic comes and go. Not thinking too much. Happy days and drinking in the evening.... with Phlydia. Simple and joyous. Yay!

I'm ruthless and my enemies dying rom a stab in the back from me pleases me as much as crushing them outright.
Without any moral restraints, I can sacrifice anything or anyone to accomplish my goals.
I can be a great ally...or a fearsome foe in real life. Backstabbing can be done in more than the physical sense and I'm becoming better and better at it by the day due to the large amount of practice opportunities I have.

I am most like Haer'Dalis the blade. My wit is legendary, and my singing prowess exceptional. Indeed, I am also an avid philosopher, writer, scholar and poet. I enjoy writing and write often, letting my expression flow freely onto the paper and out of my soul.

Yet I fight often, either with the body or the mind. Such.. opportunities often find me and I am quick to react and deal with the situation.

Thus I am a fighting bard, a blade, and Haer'Dalis.

I also have Yoshimo mixed in. I'm not always who I seem to be. I appear to act nice. (I just gave myself away!)

I am most like Edwin if you take all the nifty spells and his extreme usefullness. But I do have a similar attitude but without the spellpower to back it up

 

The closest one is probably Eldoth Kron from BG1. No heroics required, no heroics wanted.

 

Kinda like Cernd, but Lawful Neutral. (Yeah, that violates some code of the druid.)

 

I'm like Cloud from Final Fantasy 7. Grew up in a small town as everyone's fave punching bag, got into a very prestigiosu program, almost washed out... has about billion mental problems...

In terms of BG2 I'd be an Edwin as well. At least I have adopted his habit of muttering and calling peoplre monkeys

Seriously, I have done about three billion FF7 personality tests, and every time it's Cloud. (And the second choice is Sephy....)


Also, I like to see myself as a sort of Zaknafeinish person. A nihilistic bastartd who is loyal to those he/she cares for, and is forced to struggle in the morals/society thing...
