I'm going through the game solo. Only grouping with NPC's long enough to do their quests. In the early part of chap 2 I got Rylock with Jahara in the party and took him to the Harper hold, hoping this would enable Jahara's Harper quests to be done later. I've also completed her "Curse" quest. I just released her from the group and she said she was going to adventure on her own. She does not go back and stand near the Harper hold in the docks. Does anyone know where she is now or is she gone forever and will she join up again if I find her new loc? Pl  z help... thanks in advance for any advice here.

Not sure. Sounds like you lost her for good, although I'm not familiar with BG2 and I'll defer to someone who is.

I'm fairly certain that she disappears forever in protest to you for having the audacity to substitute her off your team.

That sounds about right to me. I think she's one of those types that you have to hang onto for the duration or simply wave goodbye entirely.

Unless you said something nasty to her, which could also have been a cause of it.

She will normally simply stand still when you eject her from the party unless you have a particularly extreme reputation which she is not happy with. If your rep is 19 or 20 she will get in a huff, but will not leave of her own accord (Being true neutral) When you eject her, however, she usually disappears completely because she wasn't happy. Either this, or because you messed up the romance real bad and were nasty.
