I know people stick magnets and pictures on their fridges so I just wondered : What's on yours?

    Shell has
    * Magnet 'Fathers have a photo where their money used to be'
    * Magnet 'people who don't like cats were probably mice in an earlier life'
    * Magnet 'If you want the best seat in the house-you'll have to move the cat'
    * Picture of our family drawn by Jack
    * A picture of a really fat man (48st?) to stop me eating too many sweet things
    * A leaflet about a gala coming up in the area

I have a bunch of magnets on my fridge. The ones that I can remember off the top of my head are.

    1) A frog sitting on a skull (mascot of the University of Salamanca in Spain).

    2) Taxi company ad with phone number

    3) Magnet/2006 Calendar - From the real estate agent who represented me when I bought my house

    4) One of those black Portugese rooster magnets that they sell to tourists.

    5) Magnet saying "I'm only wearing black until they invent a darker colour". I received this one as a gift.

    6) Magnet showing a bunch of road signs - none of which are particularly interesting or funny. This was another gift.

48 stone? I am not sure if I should be impressed or disgusted!

I have a parrot magnet (not sure why), Irish/Palestine flag magnet, and pretty much flags of every country that I have visited.

Nothing. Just the smooth white surface. Can't think why I should decorate it with anything.

My fridge door is covered with a wooden panel, so no magnets. In any case, I suppose that it will become my non-yet-born kids' "art" space.

School calendars, karate flyers, soccer schedule, tons of photos, lots of assorted kid-art, a clip full of takeout menus, neighbor's phone number, our emergency info for the babysitter, my kitchen thermometer, a can/bottle opener, and I'm sure lots of crap I'm forgetting. The magnets range from plain strips or dots to souvenirs of travels to freebies given out by professionals as advertising, to 5 of the 6 pieces of a Sesame Street farm set (we're missing Ernie).

Thats why you use glue, HB :D

At my Dad's, nothing, because it is covered in wood.

At my Mom's, a magnetic shopping list, a magnetic Red Sox schedule, a whole bunch of small circle magnets (with cool designs on them), and a few various other things we've had there for years.

Delivery menus, cat magnets, and a bottle opener. Plus a bunch of pots and stuff on top of it, since the few cupboards are usually overfull.

Hmmm...I actually have nothing on the door or side of my fridge...but it's only about 4 feet tall, so there is *a lot* of stuff on top of it! :p

From where I'm sitting, there looks to be a weeks worth of junk mail, a basket of random candy, a sewing box, my deodoant, and a calendar at the bottom of everything... :skeptic: :rolling:

Well I am home now so here are the rest of my magnets.

    7) Musee McCord - picture with phone number (a charitable foundation that my old accounting firm did the books for donated money to the museum and received a bundle of free passes and magnets)
    8) Goofy picture with caption "If you look like your passport picture you probably need the holiday" (Gift from same person who gave me #5 & #6)
    9) Gino's Pizza ad with phone number
    10) Ireland magnet with caption "Rush Hour" and a picture of a flock of sheep crossing a road.
    11) Baker Street replica of the street sign bought at the Sherlock Holmes museum in London.

@Rally - Strangly this reminds me of a regular bit done on Sesame Street called "Journey To Ernie". I hope you still have a Big Bird magnet. I'm sure he'll help you find Ernie.

We have a bunch of smaller magnets that seem to keep appearing inside the bottom of a little stool that we keep in the kitchen. The stool has a hole in the middle and my baby seems to think it's a lot of fun to throw fridge magnets down there.

You can touch the dust, but please don't write in it.

A note which I wrote: "Open door slowly. Junk WILL fall out if you open it too fast"

A magnet like a road wroks sign with the little guy on it leaning against his shovel with the caption "SLOW DOWN, but try to look busy"

Various photos of family doing stupid things.

Notes that are seriously out of date.

My fridge at school has a heartagram sticker on it :D

My fridge at home has nothing, although my pool cues and triangle are sitting on it.

The family fridge is covered in magnetc crap, pictures my brother drew, and a letter my Dad sent my Mum from Iraq.
