What spells can you not do without?

    I'm thinking of restarting my "Lina Inverse party", but want to be more true to LIna. Lina in the anime specializes in direct damage spells with only a couple low-level utility spells.
    However, I can't fathom trying to play the game with such a character without greater malison, breach, spell strike, ruby ray, lower resistance, remove magic, stoneskin, true sight, mirror image, project image, farsight or wizard's eye, and something like Improved Invisibility, Shadow Door, or Mislead.

    Any suggestions on what from the above list I can reasonably do without? Any others I should use besides FireBALL, Flame (flare) Arrow, Lightning Bolt (digger volt), and Dragon's Breath (closest thing to Dragon Slave, but far inferior. Dragon Slave is more of what true dweomers are all about).

    I'm going to take a low-int plain fighter that has devoted himself to longswords (or maybe bastards swords. Heck I can do both), a fighter/druid that I'm going to mod to be immune to normal weapons and if I can manage it petrification, a Cavalier and Champion of Tyr (ok, just a Cavalier, too bad I can't make a Sacred Fist as it's perfect for the character I have in mind), and maybe a Cleric that specializes in defenses, healing and maybe buffs.
