What level had your party reached when you completed the game?

    **SPOILER**

Argh, First I went for the good way with my neutral party of six. Then when reaching the Temple of Elemental Evil. I joined all of the Factions, played them out on eachother and finally killed two of them before I went down with my eyes blindfolded. I agreed to the offer I got. And later even followed the path of evil.

When I saw the title screen after the final movie (as it appeared to be) I was stunned.
I thought this was only a chapter ending. I finished with my party all at level 6.

    Spoiler...

By agreeing to work for Hendrak, and by (I'm assuming) not slaughtering the bugbear population (doing our bit to reduce over-crowding) and the remaining factions you have missed out on a good portion of both the game, and experience. I just finished level two of the temple (the one with the three head priests), and I am allready level 9. Of course, I don't have any NPC's, but I don't rest or travel much for random encounters either.

If you do all of the levels of them temple - there are four, six if you include the uninhabited ground floor and the final stage, then you should easily reach level 10.

The tower room (behind the sentry that will take you to Allrem or Romag, on an adjoining map) has a large battle with heaps of experience by the way.

    *Spoiler follows*

Don't let the sentinel blindfold you and lead you into the temple, even if you've allready been there. There is a prisoner on level two who will reward you if you free her (at a much later date) but you cannot do this properly if you took the blindfolded way in at any point. You may still recieve the reward, I am ot sure, but to my mind it is not worth the chance.

[IMG] It can be a shocking experience to end the game in the way Kiranos describes. However the many diffent ways to end the game is a good thing. I don't think all endings are equally satisfying - not by a long shot. :)

I've only played it once (pre-patch) and my 5-character party ware all on level 10. I did two of the nodes, but a lock-up in the Fire node made me skip it. (My graphics card is a GeForce2MX and I really should upgrade it.)
