    I'm trying to fight those adventurers over west of the Temple (the ones who call you inexperienced). Naturally, they must die (My group's motto, "If there's experience to be had, we're there.").

    I can't seem to overcome this little group, but on my last attempt, something weird happened. Khalid is a tank, with 70 hp and an AC of -3, so I didn't feel I had to worry about him.

    Well, the rest of my group is going after their archer and spellcasters, and Khalid is hacking on their swordsman guy.

    And then he's just...dead.

    I looked at the little report thing on the bottom of the screen, and it read like this;

    Khalid has taken 8 points of damage
    Khalid has taken 7 points of damage
    Khalid has taken 9 points of damage
    Khalid has taken 7 points of damage
    Khalid has taken 9 points of damage

    What happened? Does the adventurer leader have some kind of special power I'm unaware of? I don't think Khalid was hit with any kind of spell
    or anything.

    I'm not quite sure which group of adventurers your talking about. I guess it doesn't matter though, since the strategy for defeating almost any group of foes is the same. Have your ranger or theif hide in shadows with a missile weapon. Scout ahead so that only one enemy is in visual range. Have the character let loose an arrow (or whatever you've got equipped) and fall back to your party gradually so that the enemy will follow you. When he(the enemy) gets within visual range of the rest of your party, switch all your party members to missiles. Let loose. When he gets too close, switch your fighters to melee and let 'im have it. Also, be sure to scout with your ranger or theif far enough ahead so that other enemies dont come into view. Sure it's kinda cheap, but if the game was realistic, you'd be able to stop anything with one arrow, right Boo? :D

    Remember to cast Protection from Petrification too - there's many basilisks nearby!
