Muahahahahaw...I dont think that you want to hear my reply...

As a nice swedish little girl I say that Denmark is a very nice country to have as a neighbour. No wars (muahaha...) and no other big problems. Been there once in my life... I was two years old, hih!
Quite nice country, they talk very funny. Like they have something stuck in their throat that they cant really get up...
    ;) :p

[EDIT: I just wondered, why do people say that sweden has the most beautiful girls in the world? I read in the sportsmag some days ago... They had interviewed some people in Senegal what they knew about Sweden and what they knew about our footballteam. Many people said, "There is snow on the streets for the whole year and it is very cold!"
Some of them said that Sweden was a country where we welcomed other people from around the world. But one old lady said this thing about women. "When I was a child and we watched films and saw the most beautiful girl in the movie, we always said that she was from Sweden. We dreamed about going to sweden and meet all the beautiful women there." Why does she believe that we are so beautiful? Some of us look like shit.]

The Black Cauldron Girl: In the States, all Sweedish chicks are portrayed as having blond hair and very large breasts.

Other than that, I've been to the Tivoli. If it's still around, that is. I liked Denmark; at least, the little bit of it I've seen. Very pretty. The boat ride from Sweeden to Denmark was good too. No planes taking off; no one yelling over the intercom; no R2-D2 tests. Pleasure cruise.

    Two thumbs up for Denmark.

My mother's family is Danish and Swedish. I have noticed that they all have beautiful eyes and apparently no emotions. They tell me that stoicism and guardedness are Danish traits. Yes? They stuff me full of abelskiva and lefsa (uncertain of the spelling) and say "Oof Da!" They stand there looking at you more than they talk.

My mom's family and Hans Christian Andersen are the sum of my Danish knowledge. So if, as I perceive, you wanted an ignoramus' opinion, I am qualified to give it.

I know where it is on map. I remember reading about Skagerrak and Kattegat in books about WWII (i like to read books about sea battles) and if i remember correct, in the school i learned that it is on Jylland peninsula. Capitol: Kobenhavn(sp?)

Edit: Chicks and weather: i can only imagine, i have never been there:(

:yot: As for Sweden, i remember when i was very young, our word for porm movies was "swedish action movie" Later i heard that they had porn movies during day.

Well Denmark is the land with the oldest monarchy, the oldest flag (Dannebrog) and the coolest mythology (all the other nordic countries included of course ;))

[IMG] I guess you are narrowing it down to european monarchy only, Tasohan. Yep the Nordic mythology is a sinister and interesting studying. There is one more thing about Denmark. The little mermaid. Á worldfamous piece of junk, on a boring industrial harbour. :D

And of course, drink legal at the age of 15 and only drive at the age of 18. Talk about difference from United states.

"Talk about difference from United states."

All the European nations do things different from the US. That's why nun of you have kids shooting at each other in primary school. Or, at least, not every month...

So now what was the deal with The Little Mermaid? Is it a statue out in the middle of the harbor that's been there for 100 years or something?

  18. Its a statuette made from the tale The Little Mermaid by H.C. Andersen. It was made to honor him and was put on some stones somewhere at the habor.

And that harbor is called "Langelinie". Just to mention it: Don't travel to Copenhagen because of that! It's a 1 meter high, decapiteted statue of an ol' mermaid.
