What are your least favorite changes from BG1 to BG2?

[IMG] Mine is definatly the change in appearance of the human warrior and the elf. They used to look so cool....... now the warrior looks like a priest :( and the elf looks stupid in armor. I also hate how you can only go to a few select areas where you know there will be quests. I liked how in BG1 you could go anywhere in the wilderness.

[IMG] I agree, the appearance is kinda bad now compared to BG1, and as for your other bad thing, well I agree to that too, althought not completely, and why, cuz..Once you reach Chapter 2, it is very versatile within the city, but once you leave, its like in IWD, you can only go where the quests are, which imo is bad compared to BG1, where you could go where ever you wanted (almost)

[IMG] I have to disagree. I LIKE the way the human warriors look, but only in plate armor. The avatars are much more realistic too. In bg1, they all looked like they could not bend at the joints. :) In SOA, they streach and yawn and move much more naturaly. Although, the paper dolls look terrible.

[IMG] The lack of areas... There are so few in SoA. And music isn't that good than in the first part.

Indeed, the music in BGI was far more better..more creepy, it added more depth to the whole atmosphere during the game

The bad thing is that there is almost no wilderness in BG2. Only cities and ruins... where are the unexplored forests, the deserts, the beautiful coast?
