Ugh. I'm taking my wife to New York City for the weekend to go see some play. I don't even know what it's called. I feel like I'm being punished and I didn't even do anything wrong. It's not even the play itself. It's just that with a long drive, the hotel expense, dinner, breakfast the next morning, and then the long drive back home, it seems like a lot of money for something that only one of us is going to particularly enjoy.

 

Well, I hate Valentine's Day and so do my g/f, we think it's just a commercial ****bag jippo, but we DO celebrate that on the 14th we have been together for a year.

Go us!!

 

Huh, that's funny. I plan on gettin' some play.

We don't like to go out and fight the crowds at the nice restaurants. Besides - it sucks to get your thunder stolen by the jerk at the next table who just HAS to propose.

Tha plan: Flowers, home-cooked candle-light dinner at home, gift exchange, tappin' that ass. In that order.

This must be the best day to get a chick in the bar or whatev. Because the probablility of a girl being single and looking to score if seen out on this day is probably somewhere around 99% or so. I mean, most girls I know are actually disappointed and somewhat sad that they dont have anyone to celebrate it with And I dont think that it´s only the ones I know that feels like this. Drinking. And my ex-girlfriend is coming in the same place (we broke up 6 months ago). I wonder what happens tomorrow (or nothing happens at all, which is more possible)

As for myself, I have several options:

I'll divide the postcards from the litter in my mailbox, then read all the litter and make a fire with the postcards.

 

I plan to sit in my flat drinking beer, being bitter, and hiding from all the couples who are bound to be all over the place.
